New content is being released for Grand Theft Auto V all the time, but that doesn’t mean Rockstar isn’t still supporting its old games.
According to Kotaku, Grand Theft Auto IV has received its first patch in six years.
The patch contains some general bug fixes, and the game shows its age by solving an issue caused by graphics cards with more than 2GB of VRAM. The patch also adds Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 to the compatible OS check.
GTA IV was released back in 2008, and at the time, IGN gave it a 10 out of 10. The franchise as a whole has shipped hundreds of millions of units, with GTA V contributing 70 million of them.
