The Witcher 3’s HDR patch isn’t working out quite as well as planned on the PlayStation 4 Pro, and has brought some visual downgrades with it.\n<\/p>\n

The patch rolled out last month<\/a>\u00a0but Digital Foundry<\/a> has discovered that update 1.61 has had some adverse effects when playing in 4K on the PS4 Pro.\n<\/p>\n

It seems that the patch has affected draw distance and shadows of foliage, and the issues are present in SDR on the PS4 Pro as well, suggesting that the result is unintentional. The problem isn’t echoed on the Xbox One X according to Digital Foundry, so hopefully\u00a0CD Projekt RED will release a fix in the near future.\n<\/p>\n
